3.3 Global Payment and Clearing Network Architecture
UniPay’s payment and clearing network is built around a unified clearing hub, connecting on-chain asset systems with global fiat networks to form a multi-layer, coordinated capital flow architecture.
In terms of fund flow, the system first interfaces with multi-chain digital asset networks, where stablecoins enable on-chain value transfer. Funds then enter the UniPay clearing hub, where transaction validation, routing decisions, and settlement instructions are processed. Finally, funds are distributed across a multi-account system — including payment accounts, card accounts, and asset management accounts — enabling flexible usage and capital allocation across different scenarios.
On the external infrastructure level, UniPay integrates with three core networks:
Global fiat networks (SWIFT, local clearing systems, and banking rails)
Card networks (global card payment and settlement systems)
On-chain asset networks (multi-chain stablecoins and digital assets)
Through this architecture, UniPay operates as a central routing layer within the payment ecosystem and delivers four core capabilities.
First, it bridges on-chain assets with fiat account systems, enabling seamless conversion between digital and traditional financial assets.
Second, it provides multi-currency on/off-ramp capabilities, allowing users to move funds globally with ease.
Third, it enables low-cost cross-border settlement by reducing reliance on intermediary layers and optimizing routing paths.
Finally, it establishes a unified authorization and risk control framework, ensuring consistency, security, and compliance across different networks.
