3.4 Account and Asset Management
To support complex capital flows and diverse use cases, UniPay adopts a layered account architecture integrated with asset management capabilities, enabling a unified system for payments, capital management, and consumption.
At the account level, the system is structured around four core account types:
Digital Asset Accounts Designed for managing multi-chain stablecoins and digital assets, including deposits, withdrawals, asset confirmation, and on-chain settlement.
Fiat Accounts Supporting multi-currency fiat balances, with access to local clearing networks and the SWIFT system, enabling seamless interaction with traditional financial infrastructure.
Payment Accounts Serving as the operational layer for transaction processing, including transfers, settlements, and payment routing across different channels.
Consumption Accounts Linked to the U Card system, enabling real-time spending across online and offline scenarios, with integrated authorization and settlement mechanisms.
