3.4 Account and Asset Management

To support complex capital flows and diverse use cases, UniPay adopts a layered account architecture integrated with asset management capabilities, enabling a unified system for payments, capital management, and consumption.

At the account level, the system is structured around four core account types:

  • Digital Asset Accounts Designed for managing multi-chain stablecoins and digital assets, including deposits, withdrawals, asset confirmation, and on-chain settlement.

  • Fiat Accounts Supporting multi-currency fiat balances, with access to local clearing networks and the SWIFT system, enabling seamless interaction with traditional financial infrastructure.

  • Payment Accounts Serving as the operational layer for transaction processing, including transfers, settlements, and payment routing across different channels.

  • Consumption Accounts Linked to the U Card system, enabling real-time spending across online and offline scenarios, with integrated authorization and settlement mechanisms.
